WHO WE ARE?

We are a small family-owned company, Mal moved to Weipa 17 years ago and has been in love with it ever since. It provides such a great environment to raise children and a great base to explore everything that Cape York has to offer.

The company purchased the business in 2021, Mal loves being on the water and being able to showcase and educate our clients on everything that Weipa has to offer.

We would love to see you onboard and for you to experience what we love, Weipa and its waterways.

    I am the owner operator of Western Cape Eco Tours, I am your coxswain, tour guide and drinks server. I love the waterways around Weipa and can’t wait to share with you what Weipa and its wildlife has to offer.

  • GEMMA

    WCET OFFICE MANAGER

    I am the office manager of Western Cape Eco Tours, I am the person who is on the other end of your delightful email or answering the phone to book in your tour.

    I am also the person who prepares the individual platters and am always thinking

    of different types of food our clients might enjoy.

  • Great Trip

    My wife and I wanted to see crocodiles and we were not disappointed. The wind was strong but they guided the boat skilfully into the side channel and calm water. Good commentary and plenty to see. The beers and nibbles were also appreciated.
